Invisible Trauma -6 / 25 x 25 cm

"Invisible trauma-6" Is a statement artwork from new series of Olya's work called "The forest of Unrooted trees".
Works in these series are made with one by one assembled thin threads then embroidered onto a canvas. These tree-like sculptures symbolize people, their connections to their families, clan, bloodline, roots, and a person's attachment to a place.

After the embroidery was done on the "Invisible trauma" artwork, Olya stretched the canvas back side up and applied liquid red paint onto the back of the artwork. Then forcefully pushed the paint through the canvas, allowing many small droplets of "blood" to come through the canvas to the front side of the artwork. That allowed Olya to break flat whiteness of the canvas and added a delicate texture to the artwork, that is visible only from up close.

All artworks are made with professional quality paints on the best possible canvases and stretched by Olya to a wooden frame.
Packed extremely safely and dispatched from Hungary within three-five work days from the day order placed.
